On October 27, Nike launched the Holiday ‘20 All Conditions Gear collection as a key moment on the Move to Zero journey.
More than 150 media, influencers and NBHD partners attended a virtual outdoor experience showcasing the season – with 85% of the apparel collection containing more than 90% recycled content.
Utilizing Earth as its muse and playground, Nike ACG was established as a pinnacle expression of sustainable design. Kennard McClellan, ACG Camp Guide / Nike Communications, hosted the experience, where Zoom transformed into everyone’s favorite trail, mountain or river. Campers were treated to an outdoors mindfulness session, a hike and exploration of Smith Rock.
At Smith Rock, Nur Abbas, Design Director – ACG Apparel, showcased the collection’s sustainable and functional innovation. And, Evelynn Escobar-Thomas, founder of Hike Clerb, shared the importance of community and representation for women of color in the outdoors.
The Nike ACG virtual field trip resulted in sustainability-focused headlines across lifestyle, youth, women’s and outdoor publications. Nike’s Move to Zero commitments reached a younger audience — inspiring them to adventure in nature and protect the future of sport.
